For Courtney, workplace health and safety is about two core principles: creating environments where people can thrive and applying creative, strategic problem-solving. This philosophy drives her every day.

Courtney knows that WHS done poorly can lead to confusion and unnecessary obstacles. She calls this “sloppy safety.” Her approach is different.

Drawing on her diverse WHS, HR, leadership and business background, Courtney designs WHS solutions that empower engaged, high-performing teams. For her, effective WHS does more than reduce risk; it also cuts downtime, attracts top talent, and gives businesses a competitive edge.

Her career began in HR, but she quickly found her calling in WHS. By age 24, she was leading WHS for a company with a turnover of half a billion dollars. There, she pioneered and rolled out an integrated Safety Management System that achieved a 97.9% audit score, reduced workplace injuries by 42%, and cut workers’ compensation costs by 62%.
